Beyerdynamic has introduced its brand-new Aventho Y over-ear headphones. Inside are 45 mm drivers, which according to the manufacturer should deliver the brand’s characteristic sound. The headphones are foldable and have been designed for comfortable listening over longer periods. In addition, you’ll find pretty much everything you would expect from a modern pair of wireless headphones. That includes ANC, which uses two microphones to suppress unwanted ambient noise.
Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint connectivity makes it easy to switch between two paired sources. The Aventho Y supports just two codecs, SBC and AAC, which makes it particularly interesting for users of Apple devices.
Battery life on a full charge is excellent: up to 60 hours with ANC enabled and no less than 90 hours with ANC switched off. Interestingly, the headphones also feature a battery that can easily be replaced. According to the manufacturer, other components have also been designed to be easily replaceable by the user if necessary. A welcome touch in terms of sustainability.
