The new Pure Bloom is a portable DAB+ radio with Bluetooth. And conveniently, it is suitable for outdoor use as well.
Thanks to its IPX5 rating, the portable Pure Bloom is not restricted to indoor use. It should feel equally at home outdoors, whether on a balcony, in the garden, on a boat or just about anywhere else. Another practical feature is the removable battery, which should help extend the useful life of the device. Incidentally, this is a 2500mAh battery, providing up to 16 hours of playback on a full charge.
And in case you had not noticed already, the Bloom comes in a pleasantly retro-modern enclosure finished in suitably pastel colours. In addition to its DAB+ tuner, good old FM radio is available as well. A total of forty station presets and a compact 1.47-inch TFT colour display come in handy here.
Meanwhile, thanks to Bluetooth, you can effortlessly stream audio from your smartphone – or even your laptop, if you like – to the compact radio.
