I bought the Creek 4040a based on this review and havnt been disappointed. I don’t understand why it hasn’t had more attention? At first I tried to pair with Dali Opticon 1 mk II but I don’t think it was powerful enough for these speakers ( I had to have the volume well over half way for decent sound). Also, the Opticons were a tad too bright for me. I now have the Creek paired with Elac Debut 3.0 db63 which is much better. There doesn’t, however, seem much choice under £1000 regarding a warm ish sounding speaker. 🤔. Keep up the good work Alpha team!

Hello Simon,

Nice to hear you like our work. What a great combo you have there. I love the Elacs as well.

Best regards
Geoff
