The Creek 4040A belongs on the shortlist of any music lover looking for a fine amplifier and not wanting to spend thousands of euros. Nowhere does it falter, you can listen to music for long periods of time with great pleasure and relaxation, especially since the Creek seems to have so many reserves, creating a stable, room-filling stereo image.
The number of connections is more than enough for the audio enthusiast. An HDMI Arc is the only thing missing to use the Creek as a media hub in the living room.
The audio enthusiast on a tight budget will also certainly appreciate the Creek, especially since you can grow on while keeping the amplifier. The apparent ease of controlling speakers leaves room for the possibility of upgrading speakers.
