The test setup

We included the Kinki Studio EX-M7 in the reference system. This consists of:
- Focal Sopra No1
- Pass Labs XP-12
- Metrum Acoustics Pavane (DAC3)
- Metrum Acoustics Ambre
- Mutec MC3+ USB reclocker
- Driade Flow speaker cable
- Audioquest NRG1000 power cables
- Grimm TPM interlinks
We did not use the ground elevator; this gave a blurrier stereo image in our setup. DC filtering is set to OFF.

Please, have you been able to compare Kinki ex-m7 with Metrum Forte ?
I own a Jade Dac3 and Harbeth M30.1 and search for a power amp.
What would be the “best” choice ?

Sorry. I haven’t compared the two. But my estimate is that the Forte will have more nuance. Also: the Forte and Jade are from the same company, so they will work together very well.
