Hobo Hifi marked its 50th anniversary this year. Founded in 1975, it started out as a hi-fi shop in the Dutch city of Arnhem but soon grew into something of a mecca for audiophiles. The company expanded steadily over the years, eventually opening additional stores in Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Den Bosch, The Hague and Waardenburg. A separate repair business was also established, working exclusively for Hobo.
To celebrate the anniversary, the company has published an attractive overview of its history on a dedicated page (Google Translate is your best friend!), detailing the origins of the business, which began in Arnhem. There are even some Mexican roots involved, but you can read about that for yourself. The page also features a number of anniversary offers, always a welcome bonus.
