There’s a new music streaming service on the scene: Nintendo Music. But it’s different from all the others out there!

The “only” type of music you can listen to on Nintendo Music is game music. However, it comes with a rich history, nostalgia, and the sheer enjoyment that accompanies it. Modern in-game tracks are nearly orchestral and of high (at least technically) quality. The game music industry has been a goldmine for years. Now, if you want to sit back and listen to your favorite game music, you can do so with this streaming service. Just like other streaming platforms, you can create custom playlists with Nintendo Music or download tracks for offline listening. Thematic playlists, such as those designed for falling asleep, are also available. A handy feature for gamers is the spoiler lock button, which allows you to exclude tracks from games or levels you haven’t yet played.

Affordable

A particularly unique option from Nintendo Music is the ability to stretch tracks, even up to an hour long. This is perfect for when you can’t get enough of a particular tune or when you’ve set up your living room as a Mario Kart course and want the fitting music playing continuously. Nintendo Music isn’t free, but it is very affordable. You need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, which is quite reasonably priced: €7.99 for three months or €19.99 for a year.
