The upcoming HiFi Rose RS451 music streamer was unveiled for the first time at the recently concluded High End Munich show.
As always, a wide array of new products was showcased at High End Munich, and one of them was the upcoming HiFi Rose RS451 music streamer. It comes equipped with features such as HDMI eARC and AirPlay. At the heart of the built-in D/A converter is the ESS ES9027 PRO DAC chip. The device supports playback up to 32-bit / 868 kHz PCM and DSD up to DSD512 — in other words, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a format it can’t handle.
It also includes optical and coaxial inputs and outputs, USB-A, and both balanced and unbalanced XLR outputs. A built-in headphone amplifier is also part of the package, offering connections for standard 6.3 mm jack, 4.4 mm, and XLR headphones.
At the time of writing, it’s not yet clear which music streaming services the HiFi Rose RS451 will support. However, we expect the options will be ample. The release date hasn’t been announced either, but hopefully it won’t be much longer.
