Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE

The new Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE builds on the standard CXN100 model. The key addition in this latest version is HDMI eARC.

With the Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE, TV and movie enthusiasts are now catered for as well. This version of the streamer features an HDMI eARC connection, allowing you to easily route TV audio through the unit. All the strengths of its predecessor have, of course, been retained. The CXN100 SE is a versatile streamer-DAC with a wide range of capabilities. It supports streaming services such as Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music and Spotify. Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast and Bluetooth are also included. Internet radio is supported, and the device is Roon Ready.

The D/A converter is based on the ESS ES9028Q2M Sabre32 reference DAC chip, with a maximum supported resolution of 32-bit / 192 kHz.

In addition to the newly added HDMI eARC input, the unit also features USB, coaxial and optical inputs, as well as both balanced XLR and standard RCA analog outputs. The CXN100 SE will be available from this month in a limited black finish, followed by the standard “lunar grey” version from June this year. The Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE is priced at £899.
