Thanks to a free BluOS firmware update, owners of Bluesound hardware, among others, can now enjoy Apple Music on their devices.
Owners of Bluesound devices, as well as equipment from other brands running BluOS, are getting a new feature. By updating the firmware, Apple Music is now added to the list of supported streaming services, alongside the already available Tidal, Qobuz and Spotify.
Naturally, you will still need a subscription to Apple Music (or one of the other streaming services mentioned). Once you have that, however, you can listen directly through your device. Signing in to the newly added Apple Music service, for example, is easily done through the BluOS Controller app. In addition, Apple Music can be used with the BluOS multiroom system. This allows you to play different music in different rooms, create groups (audio zones), or simply enjoy the same music throughout your entire home.
