Volumio has developed a new user interface called Nova for its music players. The aim is to make everything faster and easier to use!
Volumio Nova is the latest arrival from Italian manufacturer Volumio. It’s the user interface used to control the brand’s devices, with an even greater emphasis on album cover art. In addition, browsing through music collections and playing tracks should now be easier and more intuitive. Another new feature is a unified search function, allowing users to search across all available music sources simultaneously.
As promised, the new interface should also be pleasantly fast. For example, loading the initial screen requires just 209 kB of data, which is remarkably little. That should undoubtedly result in significantly faster loading times.
The new user interface is currently at version 1.0, and the manufacturer says it will receive regular updates based on user feedback. In fact, Volumio developed the entire new interface in close collaboration with its users, making extensive use of feedback from its online community forum during the beta phase.
Volumio Nova is now included as standard on all Volumio devices. In addition, it is available as part of the MyVolumio Premium subscription.
