Distributor Mafico has announced that the Vicoustic VicShape 3D has been awarded a prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award.
The Red Dot jury praised the Vicoustic VicShape 3D for its “forward-thinking approach to acoustics, sustainability, and integration into modern interiors.” This recognition comes in the form of a Red Dot Product Design Award—according to Mafico, one of the most renowned international design competitions in the world—highlighting outstanding achievements in product design, innovation, and functionality. This year saw thousands of entries from across the globe, with the VicShape 3D standing out thanks to its unique 3D geometry, sustainable material use, and visual versatility.

Second Red Dot Award win for Vicoustic
This marks the second time Vicoustic has won a Red Dot Award. Previously, in 2020, the company was recognized for its GEN_VMT Collection—part of the VMT (Virtual Material Technology) line. These acoustic tiles and panels have been widely adopted over the past five years by architects, interior designers, and creative professionals.

According to Mafico, the VicShape 3D line is part of Vicoustic’s range of acoustic panels made from high-density polyester fibers (HD PET), consisting of up to 70% recycled material and fully recyclable—making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious building projects.
