Now, more than a decade later, The Beatles in Mono box set is once again available. The fact that it’s not a permanently stocked item likely has everything to do with the demanding production process. Each LP is cut directly from quarter-inch master tapes, which is, understandably, a time-consuming endeavor.
Because these sets are produced in limited quantities, there is a cap on how many copies each customer may purchase—this even varies slightly by country. In the most generous case, you may be allowed to order up to four sets at once.
