Dutch & Dutch announces the 6c: “a compact, elegant loudspeaker that brings the award-winning engineering of the 8c to a smaller format — without compromise.”

Building on that foundation, the 6c is our second product: a compact, elegant loudspeaker that delivers the same uncompromising performance in a smaller size. It is not a ‘lite’ version, but a true Dutch & Dutch loudspeaker, built from the same philosophy: we bring music to life with authenticity, innovation, and effortless musicality,” said Martijn Mensink, founder of Dutch & Dutch.
What it is
According to D&D, the 6c was created at the request of listeners “who wanted the breathtaking realism of the 8c in a more compact package. The 6c blends seamlessly into any living space and offers built-in amplification, streaming, and RoomMatching for effortless integration with the room. Spotify Connect and Roon will be available at launch; TIDAL and Qobuz are in development. BACCH will be available from the start.”
Compact it certainly is, with dimensions (H × W × D) of 38 × 22 × 30.8 cm and a weight of 14 kg per speaker.
Built to evolve
The 6c is, according to the manufacturer, more than a monitor speaker: “the 6c on its own is a complete high-end system, but it also forms the heart of a groundbreaking floorstanding system. In 2026, the optional expansion module, the Dutch & Dutch 6S, will follow. Together, the 6c and 6S become a full-range, high-end statement system with true cardioid behavior, very high dynamic headroom, tight bass, and further enhanced RoomMatching for even better control over room acoustics. This complete system will be called Dutch & Dutch 6cS.”

First public demonstration
The 6c will be presented to the public for the first time this weekend at the Dutch Audio Event on October 4 & 5 at NH Koningshof in the equally Dutch town of Veldhoven.
