Analogforum is coming up again

On March 21 and 22, the annual Analogforum will once again take place in Moers, Germany—just across the Dutch border—offering everything for lovers of analogue sound.

Moers is located just over the border near Duisburg. On Saturday March 21 and Sunday March 22, the city will host the yearly Analogforum, a hi-fi show fully dedicated to analogue audio. The event is organized by the Analogue Audio Association and this year marks its 37th edition. The number of exhibitors continues to grow each year, and the upcoming edition will once again feature several new participants.

Only analogue hi-fi equipment is showcased, including a separate section devoted exclusively to classic and historical gear. Visitors can expect everything related to analogue playback, from vinyl to tape. A popular extra at the event is the so-called Händlersdorf, where visitors can browse and purchase vinyl records, master tapes, second-hand equipment, collectible items, parts such as tubes, and much more.

In addition, the show features numerous workshops and live music performances. Some of this music is recorded on site, allowing visitors to later use the recordings to evaluate playback equipment for realism and fidelity.

Admission to the event costs €7.50. Opening hours are as follows:

  • Saturday, March 21: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Sunday, March 22: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Location: Van der Valk Hotel Moers, Krefelder Straße 169, Moers.
