Teufel has unveiled the ROCKSTER 2, featuring DMX control for lighting systems, a 2-channel DJ mixer, and dual Bluetooth receivers.
For more than ten years, Teufel’s ROCKSTER has been getting people moving in sports halls, clubs, at festivals, and on dance floors. With the ROCKSTER 2, Teufel claims to deliver the best ROCKSTER yet: more control, more flexibility, and more performance—now including DMX control for lighting systems, an integrated 2-channel DJ mixer, and two Bluetooth receivers for simultaneous audio sources.
The ROCKSTER 2 is a powerful, portable event speaker designed for high sound pressure levels, deep bass, and maximum flexibility. Beyond its acoustic performance, the focus is on control and connectivity. Thanks to integrated DMX control, lighting systems such as LED bars can be driven directly and synchronized with the music. A backlit control panel, extensive settings via the Teufel Go app, and a comprehensive connection concept make it suitable for everything from karaoke nights to large outdoor parties.
“More ROCKSTER than ever”
Compared to its predecessor, the ROCKSTER 2 has been refined in exactly the right areas for everyday event use, according to Teufel. The sound benefits from a completely redesigned tweeter with an optimized horn, combined with a powerful woofer featuring a waveguide, resulting in a tighter and more balanced presentation. Operation has also been expanded: DMX control is integrated for the first time, allowing lighting shows to be managed directly from the system. The illuminated control panel provides added convenience in low-light conditions, while the updated Bluetooth interfaces ensure a stable connection with a range of over ten meters.
Hardware and usability have also been significantly upgraded. The ROCKSTER 2 features an improved battery for longer playtime, larger wheels for easier transport, and—with its IPX2 rating and accessories such as the Protector cover and optional ROCKSTER ROVER—it is ready for use at virtually any event, anywhere.
Volume, bass, control
Teufel promises impressive dynamics and deep, physical bass. The extremely long-throw woofer reaches down to 36 Hz (-6 dB), while the generously sized bass reflex port minimizes airflow noise even at high volumes. In the high frequencies, the optimized horn and new tweeter deliver clear, detailed treble. The midrange has also been refined compared to the previous generation, ensuring that vocals and guitars remain clearly audible even in dense party mixes.
A robust Texas Instruments Class-D amplifier and a 32-bit DSP are said to guarantee precision and control, with ample headroom and balanced dynamics. According to Teufel, the sound remains stable even during prolonged playback at high volume.
Versatile
With its integrated 2-channel DJ mixer, the ROCKSTER 2 can become the centerpiece of virtually any event. Transitions between tracks can be made directly on the unit, and multiple audio sources can be flexibly combined. Particularly practical are the two built-in Bluetooth receivers, allowing two smartphones to be connected simultaneously—ideal for quick playlist or DJ changes. AAC support ensures high-quality, lip-sync audio, while the Teufel Go app adds further control options.
Connections are fully tailored to live and party use: three stereo line inputs (including XLR), a mono instrument input for electric guitar or keyboard, and an XLR microphone input for dynamic microphones. A Voice Clarity function can be activated for optimal speech intelligibility, making the system ideal for presentations, announcements, or karaoke.

Ready for mobile use: strong battery, rugged wheels, IPX2
Away from a power outlet, the ROCKSTER 2 delivers up to 15 hours of playback (at 70 dB IEC) using its replaceable high-performance battery, which includes deep-discharge protection. Mains operation with simultaneous charging is also possible. In addition, the built-in USB-C power bank function allows you to quickly charge smartphones or accessories.
The speaker comes with four large, lockable wheels, a power cable, battery, and rubber pads. It can also be used without the wheels and remains stable. The IPX2 rating provides protection against light rain, making it suitable for outdoor use. With the optional ROCKSTER ROVER, the speaker can be raised for optimal sound dispersion.
Stereo, linking, big parties: flexible and scalable
The ROCKSTER 2 is more than a solo performer. With Party Link, up to 100 speakers can be connected wirelessly. For true stereo sound, two ROCKSTER 2 units can be paired via Party Link Stereo. Prefer a wired setup or even more output? Party Link Wired allows two or up to ten additional compatible speakers to be connected. A 2.1 configuration is also possible, with the ROCKSTER 2 acting as a subwoofer while two satellite speakers handle the rest of the spectrum.
