Revox has released a high-end turntable suitable for both home and studio use: the brand-new T77.
More good news for vinyl lovers: Revox has launched the T77 turntable. It’s certainly not the cheapest option around, but by no means out of reach either. A practical highlight is the built-in phono preamplifier. This means you can connect the turntable to virtually any modern preamp or integrated amplifier using a standard line input. At the same time, the signal path between cartridge and preamp is kept as short as possible, which always benefits signal quality.

As befits a potential studio tool, the balanced output signal is provided via XLR as standard. If your home setup doesn’t include a preamp or integrated amplifier with XLR inputs, that’s no problem: XLR-to-RCA adapters are included. According to the manufacturer, rotational speed accuracy is extremely high, thanks to a PLL speed control system with an optical sensor. Factory-fitted is the high-quality Ortofon Quintet Black S cartridge, equipped with a nude Shibata diamond stylus—widely regarded in the vinyl world as one of the finest options available. The tonearm itself is made from carbon fiber.
Another useful extra is the included record weight, which can come in handy from time to time. The T77 rests on vibration-absorbing feet, specifically the bFly PolarX.
