A subwoofer is always useful for adding extra “foundation” to sound reproduction, although proper setup can sometimes be a bit of a hassle. The new WiiM Sub Pro addresses this with AI-based room correction designed to simplify that process. It features an 8-inch (20 cm) driver powered by a 250-watt Class D amplifier. Low-frequency performance extends down to 25 Hz, ideal for adding extra impact to action movies or games.
Using the WiiM Home app, users can adjust various crossover settings, as well as phase, level, and latency. A 10-band equalizer is also included. Integration into an existing system is straightforward and can even be done wirelessly via WiFi 6E or Bluetooth 5.3 LE. According to the manufacturer, the optimized enclosure ensures low-distortion bass reproduction.
