Jamo has introduced three new portable speakers under the HYG name, including both a cylindrical model and a flat-standing design.
Since its Chinese takeover, Jamo has been expanding its product lineup aggressively. In addition to traditional speakers, the company is now also offering three portable models, all part of the new HYG series. The name HYG is derived from the Danish word “hygge,” referring to creating warmth and comfort at home.
The most advanced model is the cylindrical HYG Flex. Inside are two 25 mm tweeters and a 12.7 cm woofer, designed to deliver what the manufacturer describes as a powerful, room-filling sound. Thanks to Auracast support, compatible speakers can be paired into a stereo setup or even combined into a whole-home multiroom system. Bluetooth connectivity is standard, while the built-in battery provides up to 15 hours of playback on a full charge.
The HYG Flow somewhat resembles a laptop bag in appearance. This Bluetooth speaker—again featuring Auracast support—offers up to 27 hours of playback from its internal battery. The speaker is based around two 38 mm full-range drivers combined with two passive radiators.
That leaves HYG model number three: the Reflect. This is essentially a bedside clock radio with Bluetooth connectivity, although Auracast support is absent here.

The speakers will become available from July this year in various colors depending on the model.
