If you really want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of bygone decades, the Thorens TD 403 DD in brown finish is good news indeed.
Back in the 1970s, warm brown tones were hugely popular. Not only in living room interiors, but certainly in hi-fi equipment as well—including turntables. If you have been missing that particular color trend, Thorens now has something for you: the TD 403 DD turntable is becoming available in a matte oak finish.
The player itself is a direct-drive design supporting the familiar 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speeds. Its J-shaped TP150 tonearm features an SME connection and comes fitted as standard with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.
The brown version of the TD 403 DD is expected to become available sometime this summer at a price of €1,399.
