Amsterdam-based Hifi Solutions is opening a new chapter. After 35 years, an entirely new era is beginning for the store.
Hifi Solutions has announced that the company will make a fresh start under its new owner. Following the successful takeover of the Amsterdam hi-fi business, new owner Cor van Empel, known from Audio Tempel, has thanked previous owners Mandy and Rick for their trust.
“Thirty-five years of hi-fi history in Amsterdam is far too valuable to let disappear. Together with my new team, we are proud to continue this tradition with a new audio concept, while giving the store a completely new look,” says Van Empel.
Renovation Sale
Before the new store and concept are introduced, Hifi Solutions will launch a special renovation sale starting Wednesday, August 5. According to the company: “Renowned brands will be available at highly attractive prices, with discounts of up to 50%. A unique opportunity for enthusiasts to acquire top-quality products at very competitive prices.”
A New Direction
From September, the store will close for approximately a month and a half for an extensive renovation.
In October, Hifi Solutions will reopen with a completely renewed concept: Hi-Fi & Interior Design. “The range will include carefully selected audio products in every price category, combined with unique interior design objects. With this new concept, Hifi Solutions aims to demonstrate that both entry-level and high-end audio can be aesthetically integrated into any interior,” the announcement reads.
To achieve this goal, Van Empel has added two experienced professionals from the worlds of interior design and fashion to his team. “My new team not only has a background in interior design and fashion, but in hi-fi as well! This means the two worlds will really come together. And it’s going to be great!”
