Should you happen to be planning to order an Apple Vision Pro, it is good to know that you will soon be able to watch Disney 3D movies on it.
The Apple Vision Pro isn’t very cheap ($3500), but compared to many other “better hi-fi” and altogether high-end, it is manageable. If you want to enjoy 3D content in optima forma (2D is also allowed) in large format, then Apple’s smart 3D glasses may not be a bad idea at all. Of course, everything hinges on the availability of content. Knowing Apple, that will all work out. Disney has already announced that dozens of 3D movies will be available for the Vision Pro. Among them, for example, the well-known Avatar: The Way Of The Water.
It is planned that there will be a separate category within the Disney app for the glasses with specially designed films. The films will be encoded in MV-HEVC, which in turn stands for Multiview High Efficiency Video Coding. And all in 4K HDR quality.
