It’s IFA time again, which means Philips TV is pulling out all the stops. Among the highlights is the largest Ambilight TV ever, measuring a whopping 100 inches.
Alongside that largest-ever Ambilight television, Philips TV is presenting plenty of other new products and technologies at IFA. These include the latest premium OLED and RGB MiniLED technologies, AmbiScape via Matter, and various AI-powered features developed in Ghent. The manufacturer sent us such an extensive announcement that we have decided to reproduce it in full below. Bear in mind, therefore, that these are—naturally enough—the entirely uncritical words of Philips TV itself.
Key Pillars
Berlin, 3 September 2026 – TP Vision is bringing together the premium segment of its 2026 Philips Ambilight TV line-up at IFA in Berlin, Europe’s largest consumer electronics show. This gives media representatives and trade visitors the opportunity to experience the six key series in one location and discover new technologies, features and functionality.
From flagship OLED+ Series models with integrated premium sound by Bowers & Wilkins to Best Buy OLED models, the first Philips RGB MiniLED TV and QLED models measuring up to 100 inches, the showcase demonstrates the breadth of the Philips Ambilight TV portfolio in the higher-end market segment.
All six featured series come with Ambilight and the new AmbiScape functionality, which extends the Ambilight experience to as many as four smart lights. Moreover, users can choose between different brands of smart lighting. The models also incorporate the latest developments in image processing, HDR, gaming and Smart TV functionality, including Dolby Vision 2 and Dolby Vision 2 Max on selected models.

Philips Ambilight TV Partnerships
How does Ambilight change the TV experience? Whether you’re a movie lover, sports fan or gamer, Philips says there is a TV perfectly suited to the way you use your television.
New Gaming Partner: Assassin’s Creed – Official Immersive Gaming Partner
At IFA, Philips will also provide a closer look at the recently announced new European partnership between Philips Ambilight TV and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed.
As part of this partnership, Philips Ambilight TV will remain the ‘Official Immersive TV Partner’ of the hugely popular gaming franchise in Europe until December 2027.
The collaboration includes various projects intended to demonstrate how the right television can make gaming and game worlds richer, more cinematic and more immersive. With several additions to its 2026 Gaming TV line-up, Philips Ambilight TV says it offers a suitable television for every gamer.
There is a strong focus on the gaming experience. Four HDMI 2.1 ports provide support for 4K VRR up to 165Hz, together with a highly responsive gaming experience and input lag of just 8ms. AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC should provide even smoother gameplay without tearing or stuttering.
In addition, gamers can benefit from software and hardware features and upgrades including Dolby Vision and HDR10+ Gaming, FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC compatibility, while the maximum refresh rate has been increased to 165Hz.
Progress: Global Partnership with FC Barcelona – Ambilight Changes Football
Within the new Ambilight TV range, Philips has also looked at ways of making every sports match watched at home as immersive an experience as possible. Alongside the unique Ambilight lighting technology, 4K picture quality, a high refresh rate and the powerful P5 Picture Engine provide sharp detail, smooth motion and lifelike colours.
Within the Titan OS Smart TV platform, a sports hub brings together sports content from various sources in one place.
On the audio side, Dolby Atmos is intended to bring the sound of the stadium to life, while IntelliSound recognises commentary and dialogue and keeps voices crystal clear. Consequently, the aim is to bring not only the match itself into your living room, but also the atmosphere of the football stadium.
As a global partner of FC Barcelona, Ambilight TV is adding something special to the launch of its new 2026 line-up: this autumn, every month a new Ambilight TV owner will have the chance to travel to the new Spotify Camp Nou in Barcelona and attend an FC Barcelona match as a VIP.
