The Dutch-based record label TRPTK is set to release a new album titled “Luminescence” by Liam Nassereddine.
TRPTK is soon to release a very special work. Namely the debut album of the only 13-year-old (!) Liam Nassereddine, featuring his favorite collection of piano works by Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Glinka, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Schubert, Debussy, and Say. After winning the Bunschoten Young Talent Award, Liam dreamed of releasing an album. “His musical maturity and talent impressed Maya Fridman, jury member and AR manager of TRPTK, which led to immediate discussions on how we could make Liam’s dream a reality through a collaboration with TRPTK,” said the record label.
“Spreading Happiness Through Music”
Liam writes: “My journey with this album began during a challenging time, but it turned out to be an incredible experience. When I was in the hospital for heart surgery, I started listening to Beethoven’s Pathétique Sonata, performed by Daniel Barenboim. This made me think – wouldn’t it be great to spread happiness through music? That’s when I started dreaming of becoming a concert pianist. After my recovery, I spent more time playing the piano and was admitted to the Young Musician Academy in Tilburg. During the Young Talent Prize ceremony in Bunschoten, someone asked about my dream. I said I wanted to release my own album but never expected it to happen so soon.”
TRPTK announced that the release of the new album is scheduled for July 12th.
