Jabra updates for Elite 8 Active and Elite 10

Jabra is unveiling a series of updates to its latest True Wireless earbuds, the Elite 8 Active and Elite 10, which should further enhance the user experience.

The first updates announced by Jabra for the Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 will be available in as late as this month. If you install the update, the earbuds include a convenient on and off button for Adaptive ANC, HearThrough and Sidetone features, with new voice tone prompts. According to the manufacturer, this enables even better interaction and allows users to customize their earbuds to individual preferences. Users can also customize the device name of their earbuds.

Another update in March

In March, users can expect call clarity optimization for the Elite 10 in crowded environments such as offices, restaurants and busy streets. Jabra’s latest noise reduction algorithm identifies and filters background voices, which should ensure uninterrupted conversations.

Hear (not) how the wind is blowing

Jabra’s enhancements to the Adaptive ANC on the Elite 8 Active in conjunction with HearThrough are – Jabra itself reports – even more effective when it’s windy. This is due to improved wind noise detection technology. The updates will be rolled out in two phases, the first in January 2024 and the second, as mentioned, in March 2024. This will be done via the Sound app through a wireless update at no additional cost, making the updates available to existing and new customers.
