The Fezz Audio Ovo Evolution is a tube-based headphone amplifier positioned in the high-end class. This version builds on the original Ovo. Its output stage is based on EL84 triodes, configured symmetrically with Toroidy output transformers. The output impedance is switchable, ensuring optimal adjustment at all times. The amplifier design itself is a single-ended triode operating in Class A. In addition to the pair of EL84s, it also features a 12AX7 tube. On the output side, you have a choice of headphone connections: 1 x XLR, 1 x 6.3 mm jack, and 1 x 4.4 mm Pentaconn. Compatible headphone impedance ranges from 16 to 600 ohms.
Another notable feature is that the functionality of the Fezz Audio Ovo Evolution can be easily expanded with plug-in modules, specifically for Bluetooth and DAC support. The unit is available in seven different colours.
The Ovo Evolution is priced at €3,495. At the time of writing, nothing is listed yet on the Polish manufacturer’s own website, but it has already appeared in a Polish webshop (from which the screenshot above was taken).
