The new and attractively priced Anker Soundcore Space 2 could be an excellent travel companion for your daily commute.
Anker is widely known for its phone chargers, but the Chinese manufacturer produces much more than that, including headphones. One of its newest models is the Anker Soundcore Space 2. Its price is particularly appealing, especially if you are looking for something to use on the go and prefer not to take an expensive high-end headphone with you.
Despite its modest price, this over-ear model features active noise cancellation (ANC). It uses the familiar 40 mm drivers and operates wirelessly via Bluetooth. A welcome feature is support for the LDAC codec, allowing the transmission of high-resolution audio.
Using the accompanying Soundcore app, you can tailor the sound to your own preferences. The app also includes HearID 3.0, which tests your hearing and adjusts the low, mid and high frequencies accordingly.
The Anker Soundcore Space 2 offers up to 70 hours of playback on a full charge, or 50 hours with ANC enabled. Four microphones with noise reduction make hands-free calling possible.
Finally, the price: €129.99, with availability expected from late April in several color options.
