Set-up and installation

The Merason Audio Frérot enters the reference set below:

• Atc Scm19 V2
• Benchmark Audio Systems AHB2
• Benchmark Audio Systems HPA4
• Sonnet Morpheus
• Nad M50
• IsoAcoustics Aperta
• Cabling: Grimm and Audioquest

We alternate CDs and high-res files with Tidal and Qobuz via Roon. The Frérot goes balanced to the HPA4 which in turn goes balanced into the AHB2. The M50 forwards the signal via coax to the Frérot. In addition to the Atc’s, we also used a set of Acoustic Energy AE509 floorstanders.
