Headphone brand TOZO sends another set of headphones for testing. This time the HA1, TOZO’s entry-level over-ear headphone with Bluetooth.
The difference with the TOZO HT2 we tested earlier is that the TOZO HA1 does not have automatic noise cancellation (ANC) on board. At the Alha-Audio editorial team, we have experienced TOZO as the Angstgegner (dreaded opponent in German) for the big audio brands; for a few tens of euros, TOZO headphones and in-ears offer a comparable and sometimes better audio experience than the established headphone brands, where prices usually start at 150-200 euros and more.
The HA1 is TOZO’s entry-level model in the over-ear category; the aforementioned HT2 completes the range. The choice is much wider if you are looking for in-ears; as many as 23 models. TOZO offers four on-ear models, such as the Open Buds previously tested and well liked by.
Unboxing en features
Entry level in the TOZO world means paying € 30 for the HA1 instead of 50 for the HT2. Like the HT2, the HA1 is packed in a white box with a high Apple feel. It does, even for a €30 device, feel luxurious.
Features of the TOZO HA1
The HT2 has a 40mm dynamic driver, presumably made of mylar. At 240g, it is a lightweight headphone that comes in an impressive range of colours. How about black, blue, pink, white and khaki? Via Bluetooth, you have a number of options for setting the EQ. The battery life is a whopping 70 hours, which we can immediately confirm in practice. It’s like a Duracell battery that just keeps doing the job. Charging is done with an included USB-C cable.
On the right scoop is a multifunction button that lets us control volume, pause/next song, make/stop phone calls.
