The idea of the Roon Nucleus One is a music server with a nice price tag. That goal has been achieved for sure! The device comes without internal storage, but that should not spoil the fun these days. There is room for an internal 2.5-inch SATA drive, with a maximum storage capacity of 8 TB. Or you can use a USB memory stick, external SSD or traditional hard drive. Storage doesn’t cost a lot nowadays, so don’t worry about that too much. A silent internal fan provides the necessary cooling for the Nucleus One.
The appearance of the Roon Nucleus One has the same style as the Nucleus Titan, the manufacturer’s flagship. Remains, as always, the price. And that, as promised, is low: for $499.99 you will take one home!
