AVM is rolling out a firmware update that brings Qobuz Connect support to a wide range of its devices.
Qobuz is often seen as the music streaming service for true connoisseurs. Recently, the French platform launched Qobuz Connect to make integration across devices simpler and more seamless. Many manufacturers have since been working to implement the feature in new firmware updates, and AVM is the latest to do so. With this update, Qobuz Connect joins existing services such as Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect MAX, and Roon.
Specifically, the following models will now receive the update:
- AVM 30.3 Line: CS 30.3, AS 30.3, PAS 30.3, MP 30.3
- EVOLUTION Line: CS 3.3, CS 5.3, AS 3.3, AS 5.3, PAS 3.3, PAS 5.3, MP 3.3, MP 5.3
- INSPIRATION Line: CS 2.3, AS 2.3
- OVATION Line: CS 6.3, CS 8.3, CS 8.3 Black Edition, SD 6.3, SD 8.3, MP 6.3, MP 8.3
The company also announced that it is currently evaluating whether it will be technically possible to add Qobuz Connect to other devices as well. If so, the feature will be included in a future firmware update.
