Review Bowers & Wilkins 705 S2 Signature

Test set-up

We tested the Bowers & Wilkins 705 S2 Signature primarily on two systems. These systems differ in terms of amplification.

• Pass Labs XP-12
• Bryston 4B SST3
• NAD C298
• Metrum Acoustics Pavane
• Metrum Acoustics Ambre
• Denon DCD 110
• Driade Flow speaker cable
• Audioquest NRG-1000 power cable
• Grimm TPM interlinks

So we played with both the Bryston 4B SST3 and the NAD C298 – Purify Eigentakt. The latter in particular proved to be a very transparent amp. A review will follow quickly.
