Dutch record label TRPTK has released Nicolas van Poucke’s “Sweelinck, Mozart & Debussy: Live at the Royal Concertgebouw.”
TRPTK today presented Dutch pianist Nicolas van Poucke’s digital album Sweelinck, Mozart & Debussy: Live at the Royal Concertgebouw. Nicolas’ fourth release with TRPTK includes a live recording of his concert in the Recital Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, made in October 2023.
Eclectic program
Master pianist Nicolas van Poucke, called “a true poetic musician” by the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant, brings an eclectic program with works by Sweelinck, Mozart and Debussy, according to record label TRPTK. Van Poucke opens with Sweelinck’s melancholy Variations on Mein Junges Leben hat ein End, continues with Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 9 in D major and closes the program with Debussy’s beautiful Reflets dans l’eau.
